People from all over Vancouver and in all age groups have found their way to Whipple Creek Church. Our congregation has grown steadily as people have discovered an authentic church full of hope. We are a church that isn’t afraid to deal with the realities of life. We all come as broken people and find our hope in Jesus Christ. Our congregation is alive and active in many ways. We welcome people to come and experience the excitement at Whipple Creek.

Our Vision

. . . is to allow Real People to live Real Life with Real Hope, what Jesus intended the Real Church to be.

Our Mission

. . . is to lead people into a growing, handholding relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Approach

. . . is to create strategic environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue Intimacy with God, Community with Insiders, and Influence with Outsiders.

Our Focus

…is always to remain relevant to our culture.

Come and find within our church a place to learn and grow.

History

In October of 2001, Brett Aljets stood in front of a group of 28 believers and cast the vision for a new church. He believed that what Vancouver needed most of all was a safe environment where the unchurched could come and hear the life-changing truth that Jesus Christ cares for them and died for their sins. So began Whipple Creek Church.

Since that humble beginning, Whipple Creek Church has steadily grown to be the church that it is today. After several years of meeting at Alki Middle School, we moved into our church campus in June 2007. We look forward to continuing to build on the foundation that has already been laid. Our desire is to lead people into a growing handholding relationship with Jesus Christ and to serve the community around us.
